10 Cheerful Bullet Journal Spreads to Try This Spring

Whether or not the warm air has already hit where you are, spring has come!

In honor of this beautiful time of year, I have some bullet journaling inspiration for you today. All of these are my own spreads that I poured a bit of my heart and soul into 🥰 I hope you enjoy this post!

This weekly planner has no rhyme or reason—and I love it! I wanted the squiggly boxes to accompany the whimsical style of this spread, and I think I accomplished that pretty well. I used a black pen, stickers, washi tape, and scrap paper to make this planner. The red/pink square (with the globe over it) was actually a piece of a Benjamin Moore paint swatch that I had on hand! (And in case you noticed… yes, this was done in October. I was in a springy mood 😂)

This monthly calendar was really fun to make! I had no plan, I just kinda went for it 😅 The boxy style of this calendar is super easy to make, and it’s my go-to when I’m lacking in inspiration or motivation. All of the stickers and scrap-paper I used in this spread came from this scrapbooking kit on Amazon. I got it for my birthday and I’ve been loving it! Also, as you can tell, I’m not great at consistently adding to my calendar. 🤪

Okay, so this one is pretty random… let me explain! I wanted to take these pages and just follow my heart. If I remember correctly, I think that I didn’t want to throw away that piece of scripture (from Psalm 18), so that’s how this spread started. Then, I glued in some random ephemera. The flower on the top left is something that I doodled, just copying it from the skirt I was wearing that day. The textured yellow pattern on the right page started as an accident—I put too much glue tape on the page and didn’t know what to do. I just colored over it with a marker! It’s still a little sticky, but not too bad 😂 Then, I just used bright yellow on the edges of the paper for funsies.

This one is SPRINGY and fun! I found this image on Pinterest and roughly copied it for the left page. Then I let the right page unfold however it wanted to. I stuck with the same colors I’d used for the title page and let my inspiration flow.

I think this is hands-down one of my favorite spreads of all time 🤭 For the right page, I again copied a picture I found online. I sketched it in pencil, then filled it out with watercolor! This bullet journal has 300 GSM paper, which is pretty thick. The water didn’t ruin the page, although it did get a little wrinkly on the other side. All in all, it remained generally unscathed. The exercise tracker on the left page started as a simple box calendar. I did the lines in pencil first to make sure I got the proportions right. Then, I took the colors from the right page and used those as the basis for the left page. I used the mustard-colored paper (actually Walmart paint swatches) and the lilac sticker to cover up something I wrote but didn’t end up liking 😆

This spread was fun to design! On the left, I used 2 pieces of The Paper Studio paper and 1 Magnolia paint swatch (I tell you, paint swatches are amazing for designing!!). The “APRIL” stickers came from a local thrift store, as did the stamps and ink I used to write “2026.” A little washi tape on the right page with some markers & a pen pulled together my monthly goals.

First things first, I’ll address the obvious: the date on here is February 24. Actually, I made this spread February of 2025. But, we were in South Carolina at the time and it was already feeling quite like spring 😁 This was a simple daily spread that just took some washi tape and colors. Leaving it open on the table all day was huge motivation—every time I walked by it I was reminded that I had things to do! Needless to say, it was a productive day and I give a lot of the credit to my bujo (:

This was a fun spread that I did last March. Instead of planning my days, I wrote down what we did afterward. As is typical for me, I forgot to do the last couple of days since I was already working on April bujo spreads 😆 I’ll admit that the patterns within the boxes got a little catawampus, especially when I started writing over them 🥴 All in all though, it was a neat way to keep track of what we did each day.

I really like these last two! I decided that I wanted to spend 2 hours outside every day. This is, again, when we were in South Carolina and the weather was already nice. So, at the beginning of February, I drew 56 of strawberries in pencil. Then, for every hour that I spent outside, I colored one in. They were a lot of fun at first, but ended up becoming a little stressful to maintain. But, completing it was so satisfying that I decided to do it the next month. Sadly, try as I did, I didn’t make my goal (as you can tell by the 3 gray flowers). On the right side, I wrote down what things I did while I was outside. All in all, it was pretty fun and I may do that again this one of these months… we’ll see 😏

I hope you enjoyed this post and found some inspiration if you’re a bullet journaler 🙃 If you’d enjoy more content like this, let me know in the comments!

✨ Happy journaling! ✨
